Alaska From the Air and Local Flavors Take flight on an exhilarating journey over spectacular Alaskan scenery and enjoy a traditional feast. Meet your pilot at the floatplane base, where you will receive a safety briefing and climb on board your plane. During your 20-minute narrated flight, your pilot will guide you through some of nature’s most pristine sights as you soar above the Alaskan wilderness. Fly over cascading waterfalls and crystal-clear lakes and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along the way; you may spot a black bear, a bald eagle or even a whale. As your flight descends toward your wilderness lodge destination, your host will be waiting to welcome you. Upon arrival, settle in to enjoy a tasting menu of authentic Alaskan fare. As you dine, your host will share stories of Alaska, its customs and its traditions before you return to your ship by motor coach. A liability waiver must be signed to participate in this tour. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
