The Spa Town of Baden-Baden

Explore A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Black Forest Visit the UNESCO town of Baden-Baden, renowned for its cultural splendor and thermal baths. Meet your guide at the pier and drive to Baden-Baden. During the 19th century, the town was labeled “the Summer Capital of Europe” due to its leading attractions. During your guided walk, pass the Kurhaus, a complex of cultural gems, including the casino which was famously declared the world’s most beautiful by actress Marlene Dietrich. Pause at the old pump house and feel the warmth of the spring’s healing waters, then head to Lichtentaler Allee, a picturesque park that is home to the State Art Gallery. Admire its neoclassical facade and enjoy free time to stroll the park’s gardens before rejoining your motor coach for the journey back to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
