Swiss Cuisine at Zunfthaus zur Waag

Dinner in a Historic Setting Visit a traditional guild house where you will dine on authentic Swiss cuisine, paired with local wine. Step into the Zunfthaus zur Waag, a medieval building that dates back to 1636. Built as the guild house for Zurich's linen and wool weavers and united under the name "zur Waag”, this historic building is a symbol of tradition. Members of the guild can still be found gathering around tables to eat, drink and exchange ideas. Today, the Zunfthaus Zur Waag is also known as one of Zurich’s finest dining establishments. Ascend the stairs to the third floor and take a seat in its historic dining room, which looks out over Zurich’s old town. Here, have a three-course meal of classic Swiss dishes and local favorites, accompanied by wines crafted from some of the region’s best vineyards. As you eat, take in the atmosphere of this storied building before returning to your hotel. There is no elevator available for your use. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
