Explore Two Renowned Distilleries Step behind the scenes of two of the region’s most celebrated distilleries, where tradition meets innovation. Set out to explore the time-honored tradition of distilling along both the whiskey and bourbon trails. First, stop at the Old Glory Distillery, where you will discover the full production process, from milling and mashing to fermenting, distilling and bottling. Hear about how the grain is sourced locally before sampling these handcrafted spirits. Next, cross into Kentucky and head to MB Rolland Distillery. Stroll along rows of barrels within the brickhouse and learn how this establishment fully embraces the grain-to-glass model. Sample straight from the barrels and taste how aging, barrel char and warehouse conditions affect flavor. Choose your favorite barrel and fill your own bottle by hand, cork, label and seal it in order to take it home as a reminder of your visit. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
