Clarksville Highlights

Local Museum and Market Place Discover Clarksville’s history through interactive exhibits before visiting Miss Lucille’s Market to see antiques. Meet your guide, board your motor coach and set off on a panoramic drive through the city, spotting some of its quintessential sights before arriving at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center. First built in 1898 as a U.S Post Office and Customs House, it now houses an array of interactive exhibits, including fine art, local history and science. Explore these displays independently to discover regional history and see its impressive model train layout. Next, head to Miss Lucille’s Marketplace, a collection of booths hosted in a repurposed warehouse. Here, stroll through stalls that offer vintage furniture, artisan soaps, boutique clothing and handmade jewelry. Browse the wares, meet local vendors and artists, and perhaps find a souvenir to take home with you. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
