Beachfront Cultural Experience

Local Music, Floral Garlands and More Discover the crafts of the Cook Islands during a visit to a vibrant beachfront bar and cafe. A short drive takes you to Vaiana’s Bar and Bistro, a serene venue overlooking a tranquil lagoon that is beloved by locals and visitors alike. You will be greeted by the sound of Polynesian drums before taking your seat for a performance showcasing the music and dance traditions of the Cook Islands. After, immerse yourself in local culture as you try your hand at a selection of activities—learn the art of pareu tying, craft a floral garland, participate in ukulele or log-drum rhythm sessions and discover coconut husking techniques. You may also choose to take a dip in the lagoon or relax beneath shaded palm trees while soaking in the island atmosphere. Cap your visit with a lunch of local flavors accompanied by a complimentary beverage before returning to your awaiting ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
