Safari Lodge Stay In Search of Africa’s “Big 5” Explore the rich wildlife and rugged landscape of Kenya’s Masai Mara. Enjoy exciting safaris in the African bush, home to Africa’s “Big 5”—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceros and buffalo, and learn about the Great Migration across the Mara River, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Please note: sites on this program are not accessible and cannot accommodate guests who rely on a walker, wheelchair or motorized scooter/wheelchair. Day 1 – Masai Mara Disembark your ship and head to the airport for your flight to Masai Mara. Meet your Viking Representative at the airport and check into your safari lodge. After a lunch at camp, set out on an afternoon game drive in search of Africa’s “Big 5.” Return to camp for dinner. (L, D). Day 2 – Masai Mara Awake early and head out for a morning game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife; if you are lucky, you may witness a pride of lions hunting their prey and view the many other species of wildlife that call this vast tract of land home.
