Here, the growers have adopted methods from the world’s finest wine producers and state-of-the-art technology to cultivate their award-winning Kona Joe trellised coffee. Tour of the farm and facility while learning more about Kona Joe’s production methods, then savor a cup of their fine coffee. Next, continue to Puna Chocolate’s cacao farm and set out to explore the grounds, learning about the development of the cacao industry in Hawaii along the way. Try your hand at cracking cacao beans, sample their fresh fruit and taste a range of chocolates to see firsthand how each region’s soil and climate affects the flavor profile.
