Historic Bruges & Local Delicacies

Explore the Medieval City and Sample Local Delights Admire historic Bruges as you stroll along the narrow streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your knowledgeable guide will accompany you through this exquisitely preserved medieval city, often called “Die Scone,” or “the beautiful.” Smaller and more contained than many other old Flemish cities, charming Bruges gives the impression that you have stepped back in time. Your guide will take you to sample Brugse Zot, the city’s delightful local beer. Enjoy freshly baked Belgian waffles and coffee along with a selection of the famously exquisite Belgian chocolates. You will then have plenty of free time to wander through the narrow, twisting cobblestone streets and alongside the city’s tree-lined canals. Enjoy a leisurely stroll to admire the picturesque scenery and gabled facades, and perhaps browse the quaint lace and chocolate boutiques, before returning to your ship. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
