Hike the Beautiful Lizard Peninsula
Falmouth, England

Hike the Beautiful Lizard Peninsula

A Place of Unspoiled Beauty Head off the beaten track to the beautiful southernmost point of the country, named the Lizard. This peninsula remains relatively tranquil and pristine compared to its neighbor, Land’s End. A stunning place to visit at any time of the year, the Lizard is of international botanical importance, as it is home to 15 of Britain’s rarest plants. The warm local climate has led to the abundant growth of subtropical vegetation and a year-round profusion of color. Your journey will take you on a circular walk from Lizard along the stunning coastline. In the winter it shows the sea at its fiercest—yet in summer, especially at low tide, the rocks resemble jewels in a jade-green sea. During your walk, admire the beauty of the coastline and pass secluded sandy beaches. Upon reaching Kynance Cove, stop to revel in the views of this idyllic place before returning to your awaiting ship. Modifications based on current health and safety protocols may be applied to this shore excursion. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities. Activities by foot may contain difficult, unpaved surf
