Visit Estancia Las Bardas Discover the unique viticulture of Patagonia during a visit to Estancia Las Bardas, a boutique winery and ranch. Travel by motor coach to this rural estate overlooking the Lower Chubut River Valley—established in 2015, its challenging terroir was initially considered too inhospitable for successful cultivation. Today, the estate is home to young vines of the Pinot Noir, Syrah and Merlot varieties, among others. Upon arrival, meet your hosts and set out on a guided tour of the ranch to see the plants of the vineyard, the olive groves and the small country house. Learn about the history of Estancia Las Bardas and its boutique wine production, then settle in for a tasting of two varietals produced on the estate. A traditional lunch of fire-roasted Patagonian lamb will follow, paired with a selection of wines, side dishes and a dessert.
