Picasso & Miró

Barcelona’s Famous Art and Architecture View the works of Barcelona’s famed artists and enjoy a three-course lunch at a museum venue. Begin your day with a short drive to the Joan Miró Foundation, created by famous Catalan painter and sculptor Joan Miró. Step inside this modern building to view some of his most interesting pieces before continuing along the Passeig de Gràcia—this major avenue contains some of the city’s most celebrated buildings, including Casa Amatller, Casa Lleó i Morera, and Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. Stop in El Born, an artistic area within the old town, where you will have free time to explore. Continue to the famous Picasso Museum, located in the Palau Aguilar—Picasso himself donated some of his work here. Pause to enjoy lunch, after which you will have a one-hour guided visit and view some of his most famed works before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
