Venice (Chioggia), Italy

Private Visit of Palazzo Nani Bernado

Exclusive Access to a Venetian Palace Enjoy Privileged Access to a Renaissance-style palace beautifully set along the Grand Canal. You will transfer with your guide via a panoramic boat ride to the Dorsoduro district, then take a short stroll to the Palazzo Nani Bernardo, one of Venice’s oldest and most beautiful, which opens its doors especially to you. Designed by architect Alessandro Vittoria, this elegant building was commissioned by the Bernardo family and built in the mid-16th century. An Italian garden was later added alongside the Grand Canal, giving the palace a new and harmonious air. The countess cultivates her beloved roses there. You will step inside this magnificent structure for a private tour, admiring the centuries-old, hand-painted frescoes and generous rooms. Later, enjoy a cocktail in the garden or the salon. After time to absorb this grand setting, your transfer boat will be waiting for you right outside the palace door. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
