Capture the Scenic Views of Corsica Soar high above Corsica by helicopter for a bird’s-eye view of one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful islands. Transfer to a nearby airfield and board your helicopter. Following a short safety briefing, sit back and relax as you rise above Ajaccio with your pilot, who will point out the main sights. Observing from the air, it is easy to see how unspoiled and rustic Corsica truly is, with villages that seem to rise out of the very earth, hillsides dotted with villas and farms and a dramatic coastline of surf-breaking rocks. During your 20-minute flight, you will soar over the Îles Sanguinaires, or “Blood Islands,” and head inland to the mountains. You will also have the opportunity to see your ship from a different perspective as your pilot navigates your helicopter over the port. Upon landing back in Ajaccio, you will return to your ship. Maximum weight is 240 lbs. Flight is dependent on weather conditions. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
