The Best of Geiranger

Natural Vistas of Norway Immerse yourself in nature with stops at scenic viewpoints and a visit to the Geiranger Fjord Center. Set out on a scenic drive, pausing at Flydals Gorge—one of Norway’s most iconic viewpoints. Continue along the winding road to Djupvatn; located more than 3,300 feet above sea level, it boasts impressive lake views. Ascend to Dalsnibba to view glaciers, cascading waterfalls and majestic fjords. After a coffee stop, continue to Gerainger to visit the Norwegian Fjord Center and view exhibits that showcase the region’s history, nature and culture. Discover more about local life and watch a short film that brings the power of an avalanche to life on a 180° screen. Cap your excursion with a stop at Eagle Bend for breathtaking views over the Geirangerfjord. After time for photos, return to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
