Search for Striking Natural Phenomenon Keep watch for the mysterious northern lights while enjoying a ride in a dogsled through the Arctic wilderness. Embark by motor coach, far away from the light pollution of the city. Upon arrival, meet your guides and some of the adorable huskies, then set out into the wilderness. Sit back and relax as your musher guides you and the sled’s team of energetic dogs, breathing in the fresh winter air as you enjoy a journey through the stunning Arctic landscape. Keep your eyes on the sky for signs of the aurora borealis, which may manifest themselves as faint wisps of color or shimmering curtains of light over the tundra. After your tour, return to your starting point to warm yourself with light refreshments while sitting in a traditional lavvu tent. At the end of your visit, board your coach and return to your ship. Please note: sightings of the northern lights cannot be guaranteed. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
