Sóller & Its Gardens

Discover the Heritage of Northern Mallorca Visit a historic olive oil estate, ride the Ferrocarril de Sóller and explore the gardens at Jardines de Alfabia. Depart by motor coach for Can Det, one of the island’s oldest olive oil estates, where generations have refined time-honored production methods for this prized export. Enjoy a sampling of local olive oils, then travel in a polished wooden carriage along the historic Ferrocarril de Sóller—operating since 1912, this narrow-gauge railway was built to support the region’s citrus trade. Ride through citrus groves and the rugged Tramuntana foothills to Sóller, where you will set out on a guided walk. After lunch, head to Jardines de Alfabia, an estate shaped by more than eight centuries of history. Walk through its gardens along shaded routes framed by colorful plants and Moorish-inspired water features and view the Baroque-style manor before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
