Meet your host at the pier and walk to Furu, a cozy restaurant in the heart of Narvik. Upon arrival, you will take a seat to begin your tasting of this unique Scandinavian beverage. The name derives from the Latin phrase aqua vitae , meaning “water of life” and is a drink enjoyed at festive gatherings year round in Nordic cultures. Consumed as a shot, it pairs well with traditional Nordic foods such as pickled herring, smoked fish and cheese. You will enjoy a tasting of seven different varieties from renowned Norwegian producers, accompanied by a range of tasty snacks.
