Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and set out on foot to immerse yourself in the region’s rich Viking heritage—in the past, Lofoten’s sheltered bays and fertile lands drew powerful Norse chieftains to settle here and their legacy has shaped the landscape. Your guide will share insights as you explore, passing by remnants of their settlements, including the amphitheater and the boat house. Raise a glass of berry juice in tribute to the Vikings before returning to the farm for an opportunity to meet Scandinavian horses, valued for their strength and resilience in harsh northern climates.
