Factory Tour and Demonstration of Beautifully Handcrafted Jewelry and Interior Pieces Visit one of Norway’s historic gold and silversmiths, and learn about their unique heritage during a factory tour. Take a short ride from the pier to Arven, a Bergen-based company that has been making fine jewelry and interior design pieces for more than 150 years. You will be welcomed by your host and offered a glass of sparkling wine and sample Norwegian cheese. Your host will describe the history of the company and Bergen’s rich gold and silver traditions. You will then take a guided tour of the factory and witness the artisans at work, creating beautifully crafted gold and silver jewelry, and sterling silver interior pieces. After your tour of the production area, you will have the opportunity to browse the on-site gift shop before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
