An Exciting Road Trip into the Coastal Hills Go off-road by All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to explore Honningsvåg's natural beauty. Meet your guide at our berth and walk five minutes to the ATV station. After a brief safety instruction, climb aboard your two-person ATV, take the wheel and head into the town of Honningsvåg. Then turn onto a trail that leads up to NATO Mountain. Head into the fishing village of Nordvågen and visit a fishing factory, where you will learn about arctic fishing and fish processing, in preparation for export. After your visit, return to your ATV and continue your ride, pausing to learn more about Magerøya Island's flora and fauna as you take in the magnificent vistas. Midway through your journey, you will switch seats with your partner, allowing you both the opportunity to take the wheel. At the end of your excursion, return to base and head back to your awaiting ship. Each vehicle accommodates two, including the driver. A valid driver’s license is necessary to drive an ATV. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
