Hunter Valley has been home to some of Australia’s best vineyards since the early 1800s, making it Australia’s oldest wine region. Enjoy a scenic drive by motor coach from Newcastle to the Hunter Valley, making sure to keep watch for native wildlife hiding among the vines. Your enological journey will take you to some of the region’s renowned boutique wineries. It will also include a guided tasting with a local supplier at each stop, and a tour of a winery at a select location. You will also learn about the Hunter Valley region and the history of the vineyards you visit. Sample a selection of local wines and savor a variety of different specialty cheeses, accompanied by crackers.
