Flower Market & River Cruise
Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand

Flower Market & River Cruise

Vibrant Flora and Bustling Life Along the Chao Phraya Discover the exotic beauty of Bangkok’s primary flower market and cruise the bustling Chao Phraya River. Stroll the many stalls brimming with brightly colored flowers at the renowned Pak Khlong Talat market. A market has existed on this site since the late 18th century; the current incarnation has been operating for more than 60 years. Breathe in the fragrant air as you walk among the extensive arrangements of fresh roses, sunflowers, lotus flowers and more. Then, embark on a private boat cruise along the bustling Chao Phraya and some of its peaceful canals. Watch as the river buses and ferries ply their trade, and see local life along the water. Disembark your vessel and set out to view Wat Arun, a Buddhist temple decorated entirely with colored porcelain and seashells. After lunch, continue through the Old City before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
