George Inlet Lodge Crab Feast

Panoramic Drive and Traditional Alaskan Cuisine Visit a renowned Alaskan wilderness lodge and sample freshly prepared Dungeness crab. Found in the bays, estuaries and coastal waters of Alaska, Dungeness crab is prized for its sweet flavor and tender, flaky meat. Embark on a scenic drive by motor coach, traveling along the coast to the rustic charm of the George Inlet Lodge, an old cannery bunkhouse. Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from your host and then enjoy smoked salmon dip hors d’oeuvre and crackers. Then, take a seat for a feast of steaming hot Dungeness crab, paired with clarified butter and an array of mouthwatering accompaniments. Finish your meal with a rich and smooth cheesecake smothered in Alaskan blueberries. As you dine, your host will share stories of Alaska, its customs and its traditions. Appetite sated, you will board your coach and return to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
