George Inlet Fjords, Mahoney Glacial Cirque & Lodge Visit Take to the wilds of Alaska during an invigorating off-road drive and cruise, followed by a delicious seafood meal. Receive your driving instructions and a short safety briefing, then get behind the wheel of your Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV). Set out on a guided tour through lush forests and along mountainous logging roads to view majestic fjords, cascading waterfalls and clear lakes in the George Inlet Fjords and Mahoney Glacial Cirque. After, board a catamaran for a scenic seven-mile coastal cruise to the George Inlet Lodge, an old cannery bunkhouse. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along the way; you may spot a black bear, a bald eagle or even a whale. Upon arrival, enjoy the lodge’s rustic charms and settle in for a feast of Dungeness crab with an array of accompaniments, including a tasting of five local craft beers.
