Visit an Alaskan Fishing Resort and Enjoy a Hearty Feast Visit one of the oldest fishing resorts in Alaska, embark on a jet boat ride and enjoy a seafood feast. Head to Clover Pass Resort, where you will meet your captain and board your vessel. Then, set off on your journey along the water, keeping your eyes peeled for sightings of local wildlife as you travel. If you are lucky, you may see soaring eagles, porpoises and seals as well as other marine life. After your boat ride, your captain will head to the Silverking Lodge, a family-owned fishing lodge located on Grant Island. Stroll the elevated boardwalk through Tongass National Forest, where you will find the largest red cedar tree known to these parts. Then, venture back to the lodge for a seafood feast. After your meal, you will have free time to browse the gift shop for the perfect memento of your visit before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
