You will meet your guide for a drive up to the famous Ørnesvingen, or Eagle’s Bend, a spectacular viewpoint. After time here to admire the breathtaking vistas, continue through the rugged landscape to the fjord on the mountain’s opposite slopes. You will arrival at the Dale Fjord Farm, a family-owned enterprise located in the Norddal Valley that has been part of the Dale family since 1790. Meet your hosts, who will welcome you into their home and farm with refreshments. During your visit, learn how the fjord and mountain farms operated as one unit, moving their goat herds to where “the grass is greenest” in the mountains from June to September; the rest of the year both animals and people live in the valley.
