Kujukushima Islands

Spectacular Views in Saikai National Park Venture onto the calm waters of Kujukushima Bay on a cruise around the “ninety-nine islands.” Embark on a scenic drive through Nagasaki, headed toward Saikai National Park—established in 1955, this marine park is rich in biodiversity and home to an array of semi-tropical vegetation. Upon arrival, you will board a ferry and set out for a cruise around the Kujukushima Islands. Literally translated, this means “ninety-nine islands,” but there are many more scattered throughout the bay. As you navigate the clear blue waters, take in the breathtaking natural landscapes and learn why Kujukushima Bay is often said to belong to the “Most Beautiful Bays in the World” club. Next, continue to Kujukushima Park to view the islands from a different perspective and enjoy a brief photo stop, followed by lunch at a local restaurant before you return to your awaiting ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
