An Evening in Tokyo

Take in the Sights From Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa and Ginza Districts Experience Tokyo at night with a visit to the Tokyo Skytree and a drive through two of its famous districts. Drive by motor coach to the Skytree—opened in 2012, it is the highest stand-alone broadcasting tower in the world at 2,080 feet tall. Head up to the observatory, which offers 360° panoramic vistas of the city. Pause to take in the views of the illuminated skyline, then return to ground level to explore the area’s shopping arcade and browse the shops for a memento of your visit. Then, return to your coach for a scenic drive over the Sumida River to the Asakusa district. Once Tokyo’s leading entertainment district, today it is most famous for being the home of the 7th-century Sensō-ji temple. Travel through the Ginza district, the center of modern Tokyo and home to many upscale boutiques, restaurants and fashionable hotels, then return to your awaiting ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
