Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The Laurentian Mountains

Discover Montreal’s Great Outdoors Embrace the majestic landscapes of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world in Montreal’s “backyard.” The Laurentians, with their forested hills, shimmering lakes and picturesque villages, are a favorite escape for both city dwellers and visitors from around the globe. Embark on a scenic drive to the peaks, stopping first for a stroll around the charming resort village of St. Sauveur. Continue through the idyllic countryside to Mont-Tremblant and discover why the resort at its base is regularly voted the best in eastern North America. Explore the appealing boutiques and restaurants of Tremblant’s Pedestrian Village, with free time to enjoy lunch on your own. Board the gondola for a ride to the top of Mont-Tremblant, known as the crown jewel of the Laurentians. From the observatory tower located almost 3,000 feet above sea level, admire sweeping views of valleys, lakes and seemingly endless trees before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
