Montreal Highlights

The World’s Second-Largest French-Speaking City See the highlights of the world’s second-largest French-speaking city on this panoramic excursion. Montreal is known as the cultural capital of Canada and fondly embraces its heritage with an array of theaters, art galleries and a food scene on par with that of any major international city. Embark on a scenic drive to Montreal’s historic Old Town. Visit the magnificent Notre Dame Basilica, a neo-Gothic treasure rivaling Europe’s finest cathedrals and boasting a splendid interior of sculpted wood, lush paintings, gold leaf and stained glass. Return to your motor coach and take in the city’s sights. Pass through the Golden Square Mile and see McGill University, which was established in 1821 by royal charter granted by King George IV. Afterward, you will return to your awaiting ship. Please note: during religious holidays, the Notre Dame Basilica is closed to the public. Guests will visit Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal instead. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
