Whale Watching in the Gulf of St. Lawrence

See the Planet’s Largest Creatures Up Close Observe the ocean’s magnificent, gentle giants on an unforgettable whale-watching expedition. Embark on a scenic drive by motor coach to Forillon National Park, where you will meet your guide and captain at the pier at Grande Grave. Embark your vessel and after a short safety briefing, set sail into the blue waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, home to several different species of whale. Depending on the season and the available food sources, you may see the impressive blue whale, the largest mammal on Earth; the humpback whale, legendary for its dramatic displays of breaching; the long, slender fin whale; or the elusive minke whale. Atlantic white-sided dolphins, harbor porpoises and seals are also common sights in these waters. Afterward, return to your coach for the drive back to your awaiting ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
