A Living Pilgrim Experience Watch history come alive as you immerse yourself in a recreation of the 17th-century Plimouth colony. Visit the Mayflower II , a replica of the original ship that crossed the Atlantic Ocean to the New World in 1620, and gain insight into the difficult choices and incredible risks taken by intrepid English colonists. At the Plimoth Grist Mill, a reproduction of the colonists’ grain mill, enjoy a look inside before exploring the recreated colony and living museum of Plimoth Patuxet. Listen as historic interpreters play an actual person from the Plimoth Colony settlement of 1620, discovering more about their lives, cultures and worldviews. Tour the Patuxet Native Homesite to learn about the Wampanoag People who lived in the area for thousands of years before the arrival of the Mayflower . Savor a traditional, homestyle Thanksgiving meal, then return to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
