Percé Town & Sea Cruise

Stroll the Artistic Old Town and Wildlife Cruise to Gannet Colony Visit charming Percé and cruise around its imposing rock island. Begin your tour with a panoramic drive along the rugged coastline, past sweeping bays and imposing clifftops. Arrive in Percé and see why artists have been drawn to the town, with its colorful fishermen and incredible landscapes. Next, you will embark on a scenic cruise around Percé Rock. One of the world’s most majestic ocean rock formations, it stands proudly arching over the sea. Dating back more than 400 million years, it contained three arches when it was originally described by explorer Jacques Cartier in 1534. Two have subsequently disappeared over time; today, only one 50-foot arch remains in the middle of the formation—large enough for a small boat to sail through at high tide. The outer arch, which collapsed in 1845, still can be seen as a lone column. Later, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
