Atlantis XII Submarine Experience

Cozumel’s Fascinating Underwater World Slip beneath the surface to experience a stunning underwater world in the Atlantis XII Submarine. Board your submarine, a battery-powered, eco-friendly vessel. Take a seat next to one of its 26 side portholes, which will allow you unencumbered views of this fascinating marine environment. At the dive site, your vessel will gently descend to depths of up to 100 feet. Along the way, you will have an opportunity to marvel at the beautiful Chankanaab reef, as well as glimpse over the Wall, a sheer vertical drop that plummets 2,000 feet to the dark depths below. Keep watch for the many colorful exotic fish, sea turtles and manta rays that inhabit the waters around the reef and gain insight into life here from your knowledgeable crew. You will also enjoy views of the popular dive wreck of the Felipe Xicotencatl before ending your memorable journey back on the surface. Please note: guests with mobility issues cannot participate. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
