Charming Kennebunkport & Scenic Cruise

Idyllic Riverside Village and Traditional Maine Lunch Visit the affluent village of Kennebunkport and enjoy a scenic cruise along its river. Embark on a picturesque drive along Maine’s rocky shoreline. George H. W. Bush put Kennebunkport on the map when he made the village his summer residence. During your panoramic journey, view the historic architecture; many of the 18th- and 19th-century homes here have been fully restored. See the famed “Wedding Cake House,” whose facade resembles the tiers of its namesake. Board your vessel at Dock Square and begin your cruise, sailing past local landmarks, including the Bush Compound on Walker’s Point. After, you will have free time to explore the village’s many upscale shops and galleries. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local resort, during which you may indulge in a classic chowder, lobster roll or chicken salad. Cap your excursion with a visit to Maine’s oldest lighthouse. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
