Seaside Vistas and a Storybook Setting Gaze upon serene seascapes and tour the farmhouse that inspired one of literature’s most beloved childhood stories. You will drive with your guide through the rolling farmland and coastal beauty of Prince Edward Island (PEI). At North Rustico Harbor, see the picturesque fishing harbor, lined with dozens of lobster boats and traps. After time for photos, trace the Gulf of St. Lawrence through PEI National Park, where you will stop to take in the views from the cliffs overlooking the famous Cavendish Beach. Next, stop at the Green Gables House, inspiration to Lucy Maud Montgomery to write Anne of Green Gables in 1908, and enjoy time to explore the house, barn and grounds on your own. En route back to your ship, stop at the PEI Preserve Company to sample and purchase as many delicious jams and jellies as you would like. Please note: not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
