Cycling Along the Lachine Canal

The Island-City on Two Wheels Discover Montreal by bicycle on this invigorating excursion that lets you experience the city like a local. Montreal is known for its bike-friendly streets, and it boasts a vast network of bicycle paths that stretches over 200 miles. Those within the Lachine Canal National Historic Site have been rated the third most beautiful urban circuit in the world by Time magazine. You will meet your guide and your bikes in Old Montreal, then pedal your way past diverse architecture, through quaint neighborhoods and along a scenic canal that serves as a gateway to the Atlantic. During your ride, you will take a break at a small public market. Here, your guide will provide a snack and beverage that you can enjoy while strolling the bountiful stalls brimming with fruits and vegetables. Later, you will make your way back to the Old Town to return your bicycle. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
