Panoramic Edinburgh

Sightseeing in Scotland’s Picturesque Capital Embark on a panoramic journey through Edinburgh to discover its rich history and view notable landmarks. Board your motor coach and begin with a drive through the elegant Georgian-style New Town—once a residential neighborhood for Edinburgh’s upper-class, today it is a cultural hub and thriving commercial district. Discover the striking contrast of the Old Town’s medieval streets, then continue past iconic sites that reveal the history of the city, such as the Royal Mile. This famed thoroughfare links Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, one of the King’s official Scottish residences. Look to the horizon for a glimpse of Arthur’s Seat, an extinct volcano that rises above the city. If time permits, you may also see the prestigious Fettes College, noted for its impressive architecture. After a photo stop at West Princes Street Gardens, return to your ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
