Mallaig by Boat

Coastal Landscapes and Local Wildlife Venture onto the waters surrounding Mallaig for a relaxing journey with opportunities to see local wildlife. Climb aboard your motor coach for a scenic drive along the famous Road to the Isles to the small fishing village of Mallaig. Upon arrival, head to the harbor and board the MV Western Isles , a traditional wooden vessel, to embark on a leisurely cruise around Mallaig. You will have sweeping views of the isles of Skye, Rhum and Eigg as you set off on the tranquil waters. As you sail, keep watch for sightings of local wildlife; these waters are frequently visited by seals, porpoises, dolphins and basking sharks. During your journey, enjoy a taste of local whiskey. Later, you will have free time to explore Mallaig before returning to your coach for the drive back to your awaiting ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
