Loch Lomond, Luss & Cowal Peninsula Vistas

The Land of Rob Roy Explore the magnificent Scottish countryside and the shoreside conservation town of Luss. You will enjoy a scenic drive along the banks of the Clyde, pausing for a photo stop in charming Helensburgh before continuing up the coastline toward Arrochar—an idyllic village set among some of the most beautiful scenery on the Cowal Peninsula. Your knowledgeable local guide will share the story of Rob Roy, the famous 17th-century Scottish hero who led the Clan MacGregor into many battles around these valleys. After a comfort break, you will continue along the stunning coastline of Loch Lomond to the quaint town of Luss. Here, you will have some free time to wander the banks of the largest freshwater lake in Britain, explore the general store and craft shops exhibiting the work of local artists, or perhaps enjoy a coffee at the only shop in Scotland that sells its very own Loch Lomond tartan. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
