Fort Augustus & Loch Ness by Boat
Fort William, Scotland

Fort Augustus & Loch Ness by Boat

A Charming Village and Scotland’s Most Famous Loch Visit the picturesque town of Fort Augustus and sail across the tranquil waters of Loch Ness. Board your motor coach and set out for Fort Augustus, nestled in the heart of Scotland’s Great Glen. Along the way, you will pass by Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom, and the Commando Memorial, dedicated to the original British Commando Forces raised during World War II. Upon arrival at Fort Augustus, climb aboard your vessel for a relaxing cruise on Loch Ness. As you sail, soak up the natural beauty of your surroundings and enjoy stunning views of Cherry Island and Fort Augustus Abbey from the water. After, you will have free time to explore this quaint hamlet on your own. Perhaps take a stroll along the Caledonian canal or visit one of the many gift shops for a memento of your trip. Then, return to your coach for the drive back to your awaiting ship. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
