Estonian Open Air Museum & Tallinn Upper Town Walk

Discover More About Historic Tallinn Join us for a gentle stroll through Tallinn’s narrow cobblestone lanes to a scenic viewpoint in the Upper Town. Pass the site of the Estonian Parliament, the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Alexander Nevski, and explore the interior of the historic Lutheran Dome Church (St. Mary's Cathedral). Take in the magnificent sight of the Lower Town, with its red rooftops, slender church steeples and beautiful views of the seas before you visit the open air museum at the Rocca al Mare district of Tallinn. See authentic examples of 19th-century peasant buildings in a typical village layout. Learn more about the harshness of life just before the Industrial Revolution reached this part of the Baltic, watch traditional folk dancing and sample some local delicacies enjoyed by Estonians at that time before returning to your ship. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines. Total time walking or standing normally ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours.
