During your guided 3-mile trek, you will admire the rugged Pacific coastline as it stretches from Pegasus Bay to the Southern Alps. Meet your guide at the pier, then transfer to Godley Head. Here, receive your hiking gear and set off down a grassy track toward Scott’s Cabin, where you will hear the story of Robert Falcon Scott’s initial Antarctic exploration. Take a well-maintained coastal track to view the rocky beach at Boulder Bay and its old baches (“beach cottages”). A gentle, 30-minute uphill walk with sweeping views of the turquoise-colored waters of Lyttleton Harbour will take you to the car park, before returning to your ship. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
