Scenic Cycle and Wine Tasting at Local Winery Soak up the striking coastal views while cycling on an electric bike en route to a local winery. Following a short drive, you will receive your e-bike, plus a short safety briefing and orientation, before setting off for a 10-mile ride along the scenic Hawke’s Bay Trail. Enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific and stop at the Ahuriri Wetlands for an opportunity to observe the endemic birdlife and sheep that inhabit the area. Pause at the Ātea a Rangi Star Compass, a full-scale Māori star compass, where you will hear about how the Māori navigated by canoe from Polynesia to New Zealand. Continue to the suburb of Puketapu, where you will cycle along urban trails toward one of the renowned wineries of Hawke’s Bay for a well-deserved wine tasting, accompanied by a delicious cheese platter. After, you will return to your ship via van or motor coach. * Demanding - Physically challenging activities, including extensive walks, hiking, riding, water sports, and high altitude activities.
