Begin with a transfer by motor coach to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival at the community garden, set out on foot through growing areas filled with vegetables and herbs as your guide explains how residents cultivate produce in this hidden sanctuary within the city. Next, head to the Central Market, where you will have the opportunity to browse stalls offering crafts, textiles and delicacies from across Malaysia before continuing on foot to a nearby tea house for a traditional tea tasting. Finally, head to a nearby venue and roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking demonstration, where you will learn how to prepare Malaysian dishes under the expert guidance of your host.
