Scenic Beauty & Culture of Istanbul

Bosphorus Cruise and Beyazıt Mosque Experience Istanbul from the waters of the Bosphorus Strait and explore two of its cultural landmarks. Meet your guide and set off on foot along the banks of this historic waterway that separates two continents, en route to board a boat for a sightseeing cruise. Sail past traditional wooden villas, 19th-century Ottoman palaces and Rumeli Fortress, a medieval hilltop fortification. Midway through your journey, pause to enjoy a Turkish-style breakfast onshore. Later, disembark your boat in the port of Eminönü and transfer to the Beyazıt Mosque, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture—completed at the beginning of the 16th century, it is one of the earliest examples of Ottoman imperial mosques. Cap your day at the Sahaflar Çarşısı, a renowned secondhand book market and treasure trove of old texts and manuscripts, where you will have time to browse before returning to your ship. Please note: modest dress is required to enter places of worship. Arms and legs must be covered at all times and women will be required to wear a headscarf. * Moderate - Walking portions may be long and somewhat challenging with occasional step-ups, stairs and inclines.
