Stikine River by Jetboat

Tour a River Delta Past a Dramatic Alaskan Wilderness Landscape Cruise in a jetboat down the Stikine River, one of the last truly wild rivers in North America. Running through the 500,000-acre Stikine-LeConte Wilderness area, the Stikine River flows through a scenic landscape of temperate rainforest, waterfalls, glacial icefields and rugged mountains; renowned American naturalist John Muir described the views along the Stikine as “a Yosemite 100 miles long.” Meet your captain and guide at the pier, then board your jetboat and set out. Depending on the weather and water levels, your captain will choose the best route for your excursion. Traverse the ever-changing rainforest-lined river delta as you meander through wetland channels and pass countless waterfalls. You may also see icebergs and glaciers as you cruise. Keep watch for wildlife on the sandbars and riverbanks. Please note: Animal sightings are not guaranteed. A liability waiver must be signed to participate in this tour. Maximum weight is 250 lbs.
