Wildlife of Prince William Sound

Witness Marine Life Amid Stunning Scenery View the diverse wildlife of Prince William Sound during a leisurely cruise. Meet your guide at the pier and board your vessel, then sit back and relax as you set sail. Your boat will trace the shores of the sound, past cascading waterfalls and into picturesque bays, until you reach the rocky headland of Point Bull Head. Along the way, your guide will explain the local landscape, geological features and point out places of interest, and share stories about early explorers and the region’s gold mining heritage. As you sail, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings; you may see sea otters, who are frequently spotted in these parts, as well as porpoise, orca and even humpback whales. On land, bald eagles are plentiful, nesting in treetops or perched along the shore. After your tour, return to your awaiting ship. Please note: wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. * Easy - Walking portions are generally over easy surfaces with few steps or inclines. Total time walking or standing is normally not longer than 1.5 hours.
