Panoramic Drive Through Majestic Alaskan Wilderness Explore the Alaskan wilderness in an off-road vehicle during a panoramic tour of Chichagof Island. Travel along the coast and through Hoonah, the largest native Tlingit community in Alaska. Upon arrival in the foothills of the Hoonah Mountains, receive a short orientation and safety briefing before climbing into your off-road vehicle and taking the wheel. Follow a trail into a temperate rainforest full of fragrant Sitka spruce, Douglas fir and red cedar trees. Pass by deep valleys and take in the stunning panoramas of the surrounding mountains and the Icy Strait as you traverse your path. Stop along the way to switch drivers so that both riders have time to appreciate the sweeping vistas, as well as take time for photographs. After your trek, you will return to your awaiting ship. A liability waiver must be signed to participate in this tour. Drivers must be over 18 years old and present a valid license.
